Welcome to the John MacDonald Memorial BB/B Tournament hosted by CYO Minor Hockey.
October 18-20, 2024 at the Seymour Hannah Sportsplex in St. Catharines.
General Information
This is a BB/B level pre-season (pre-tier) tournament. All divisions are NBC (no body checking) with zero tolerance for fighting.
Teams are guaranteed 3-game minimum. Divisions will be divided into pools of 4, with the top 2 teams in each pool advancing. Breakdown of the semis and finals will depend on the number of pools in each division (minimum 1 pool of 4 teams will be required to run a division). Gold and silver medals will be awarded after each division's final game.
All teams are required to pay a $400 deposit upon entry to confirm their placement. No team will be added to the schedule unless they are paid in full. Payment in full is due by September 15th.
GAMES WILL START AS EARLY AS 8AM FRIDAY MORNING. SCHEDULES WILL BE RELEASED ONLY TO TEAMS WHO HAVE PAID IN FULL BY SEPTEMBER 15TH.
This tournament is held in memory of St Catharines CYO Minor Hockey coach, John MacDonald, who held numerous roles and volunteer support positions with our association.
