General Information (St. Catharines CYO)

PrintGeneral Information

If you require assistance with your registration, please contact the league administrator at:  [email protected], or by phone at 905-228-0313.

If you are new to St. Catharines CYO, but have played in another Hockey association previously, your child's registration will show as "Unavailable"  to do so, we need to do a transfer for your player.  Please email the league with your child's name and date of birth, or fill out the Player Information Collection Form This form will notify us to put in a transfer request with Hockey Canada.  We will contact you when the request is approved and you can register with the league.

Also be aware that our league has a well defined Allocation process for assigning players to teams.  These rules can be reviewed on the Rules page. Do not assume that you will be automatically placed within the parish of your preference.  There are many factors that come into play when allocating players.  We do our very best to ensure the players are placed within their preferred teams but this is not always possible.  We appreciate your understanding in this matter.

If you would prefer to register in person or make your payment in person please visit the CYO office at the Northeast corner of Jack Gatecliff arena (corner of Riordon & Division St)

Office Hours for summer of 2018 will be posted on the website organization Calendar; as a general rule, we are open Monday mornings, Wednesday late afternoon/early evening and Saturday midday.  Please verify the Office openings with the Calendar.

This season we will continue with our family plan.  Two or more players from the same family* will be eligible for fee discounts. Discounts are only applicable from the Major Novice through Midget House League divisions. The second player to register will have a $75 discount applied to their fee. The 3rd, 4th, 5th player from the same family will have $275 deducted from their cost of registration. If an additional player is registering in our Initiation or Minor Novice program they will have $175 deducted from their registration as this program is already discounted.

* A family is defined as siblings with the same parents.

Goalie Discount - All full time goalies from the Atom - Midget divisions will have $75 removed from their registration fees.

Please Note:   CYO Board of Directors reserves the right to review discounts awarded and if it is determined discounts were applied incorrectly the family will be levied the appropriated fees.  If fees are unpaid, players will not be permitted to go on the ice until fees are paid in full.  Any dispute is to be directed to [email protected] who will in turn bring this to the attention of the Board.  Until a decision is made, any fees added to a player’s account must be paid in full for that player to be eligible to play.  If the Board deems that an error has been made in adding the extra fees, fees will be reimbursed as appropriate.
